During the 16th to 19th October 2012 we were participating in the 15th Cluster World Congress, organized by TCI, in the cities of Bilbao and San Sebastian, Basque Country. Carlos Tarrasón, Cluster Consulting director, presented the experience of Cluster Consulting in the State of Minas Gerais, Brazil, developing future place based strategies for smart specialization. Specifically, presented the experience of 4 food clusters en Minas Gerais.

During the 3rd of July 2012, the second workshop of the Food Clusters project took place in the Exportaminas headquarters. We presented the characteristics, challenges and strategies of the 4 clusters chosen to be part of the project to develop food clusters in Minas Gerais. Project lead by the Government of Minas Gerais in partnership with the World Bank.

From the 29th of May until the 1st of June 2012 we participated on the 7th Latin American Congress of Clusters, organized by TCI, in Monterrey, México. Carlos Tarrasón, director of Cluster Consulting, presented the Brazilian experience in the first panel of the Congress "Public Policies for the development of clusters in America". Also, he presented the Cluster Consulting methodology in the workshop of Innovation and clusters, and in the workshop about Methodologies for constructing cluster action plans.

We participated in the 6th Latin American Congress of clusters in Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, from the 16th to the 20th of May, 2011.
